Role Description
We are seeking a Core Telecom Implementation Engineer with strong experience in telecom networks, core infrastructure, and end-to-end implementation. The ideal candidate will have a “PM DNA”, demonstrating ownership, responsibility, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. They will also serve as a key interface between the client and the customer, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
- Manage and oversee telecom core network projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Implement and maintain core network services, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.
- Handle technical requests related to Chain Requests, IW, SSNC, Stale Alarm Patch, NTAS, IMS, CBAM, CBIS Manager, and NCS.
- Lead Core Windows Implementation, ensuring system stability and efficiency.
- Conduct Handoff to Product Teams, facilitating smooth transitions and knowledge sharing.
- Perform horizontal testing to validate system performance.
- Deliver technical sessions for the implementation of services and products in the core network.
- Work with Nokia Mediation Platform, ensuring optimal configurations and deployment.
- Participate in pre-sales and sales activities, providing technical insights to support business objectives.
- Maintain effective customer communication, handling complaints, corrective actions, and evolving requirements.
- Continuously seek improvements in quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in telecom core network implementation and project management.
- Strong understanding of Packet Core, VNF concepts, 5G, Cloud migration, AWS integration, IMS/SDL concepts, and architecture.
- Experienced leading migration projects from VFN to CNF.
- Ability to work independently while managing complex telecom projects.
- Strong technical and project leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Advanced/Fluent level required).
- PMI PMP certification is a plus.
