[Hiring] Consultant for Toolkit Development for Disease Outbreak Preparedness and Response @AGORA

Role Description

This consultancy is to develop a practical toolkit to support country teams responsible for leading or promoting vaccine acceptance and uptake during public health emergencies. The toolkit will provide practical guidance and tools for integrating vaccine demand and acceptance throughout the emergency vaccination cycle, from preparedness and activation through vaccine deployment, monitoring, and adaptation.

The consultancy will also provide technical support to promote vaccine uptake and demand for vaccine trials and vaccine roll out in response to ebola disease outbreaks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social science or relevant field.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in social and behavior change, risk communication and community engagement.
• Experience of working in emergency response.
• Experience of designing and implementing demand promotion strategies including crisis communication plans on disease outbreak response and vaccine roll out during emergencies.
• Experience in capacity building on vaccine demand/SBC.
• Knowledge and experience of working in global/regional coordination mechanisms.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
