[Hiring] Consultant for Endline Population-Based Survey on Menstrual Dignity and Discrimination @Fos Feminista

Role Description

The main objective of this consultancy is to design, conduct, and analyse the results of an endline population-based representative survey to measure changes from baseline in the structural factors of menstrual discrimination experienced by menstruators in the nine Sang pour Sang project countries: Benin, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Dominican Republic, Guinea, Haiti, Nigeria, Pakistan, and the Philippines.

• The endline population-based survey will replicate the baseline survey methodology to ensure comparability of results over time.
• The consultant will ensure a representative sample of the target population of menstruators in each country that is comparable to the baseline sample.
• A targeted sample of approximately 450 systematically excluded menstruators will be included.
• The consultant will use the same or similar local survey partners and fieldwork networks where feasible.

Qualifications

• Prior involvement in the design and implementation of the baseline population-based representative survey.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
• Specialized expertise in population-based representative survey development, testing, and administration in the Global South.
• Extensive background in designing and implementing rigorous assessments of sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice.
• Strong knowledge of the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural settings across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with Agence Française de Développement requirements or reporting is a plus.

Requirements

• Documentation of IRB approval must be submitted before data collection.
• Deliverables include inception report, cleaned datasets, and baseline-endline comparative findings report.
• All results must be disaggregated by country and age group.
• Apply an intersectional feminist lens to all processes and deliverables.
