Role Description

The work of our inside desk examiners directly contributes to the success of our organization. You will have the ability to make a meaningful impact by leveraging your industry expertise, customer service skills, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is the perfect opportunity for a self-motivated Construction Defect Adjuster to apply their knowledge of coverage and negligence theories while investigating Construction Defect claims. • End-to-end management of Construction Defect claims according to policy coverage and state requirements.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine damages and assess liability exposure; enter detailed notes in our claims management system.
• Direct and manage defense counsel when appropriate.
• Write thorough and professional reports to clients for claims outside authority, draft disclaimer, denial, and reservation of rights letters.
• Appropriately represent the company by executing a high level of service and maintaining professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience
• Must maintain current and valid adjuster license(es)
• Strong project management skills and ability to work independently
• Strong working knowledge of insurance laws and general construction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience at a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) company is a plus
