[Hiring] Configuration Management Specialist @Solvere Technical Group

Role Description

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Senior level Configuration Management Specialist for Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) for the U.S. Coast Guard's Surface Acquisitions Logistics Center (SALC). The purpose of this work is to provide detailed and technically correct configuration for US Coast Guard acquisition projects - specifically the Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) in accordance with USCG procedures, processes, and specifications.

• Defines provisions for configuration management planning, identification, improvement, change control, status accounting, and audits.
• Plans, identifies and maintains the original and current configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation.
• Regulates the change process and conducts configuration audits.
• Supports the Quality Assurance process audits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10+ years of experience working Configuration Management with new acquisitions.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with Military Documentation Standards (MILSTDS) also required.
• Have an extensive background in Configuration Management, design interface support, and training are highly desired.
• Previous U.S. Coast Guard experience is a plus.
• RCM Level II certification is a plus.
• Experience in U.S. Coast Guard FLS, ACMS, CGLIMS is a plus.
