[Hiring] COMOS Administrator @IBD Romania

Role Description

We are looking for a German-speaking COMOS Administrator to support the administration, maintenance and development of COMOS for industrial plant engineering and technical documentation.

• Administer and maintain the COMOS environment to support engineering and documentation teams.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and project settings.
• Configure and maintain object structures, templates, attributes and documentation standards.
• Support the import, migration and validation of technical plant data.
• Monitor data quality and consistency across projects and databases.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate their resolution with IT teams and software support.
• Support users with technical queries and provide guidance on COMOS workflows.
• Maintain system documentation and support agreed updates and improvements.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or practical experience in engineering, automation, electrical engineering, IT or a related discipline.
• Practical experience administering or configuring COMOS.
• Understanding of technical plant documentation and structured engineering data.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Good written and spoken German.
• Ability to work independently and support users remotely.
• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, oil and gas, or comparable process-industry environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with database management, scripting or interfaces between engineering systems is beneficial.

• Candidates must be able to travel to Vienna or within 50 km of Vienna, Austria or in Bavaria or North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
