[Hiring] Community Manager @Black Recruiters Network

Role Description

We're looking for a Community Manager to oversee engagement across our channels - WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Slack, and our newsletter.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

• Welcoming new members, keeping conversations flowing, and connecting members to the right people.
• Spotting the person with a question and the member who has the answer.
• Sharing opportunities, amplifying voices, and ensuring everyone feels seen and valued.
• Working closely with our founder to curate content for our newsletter.
• Maintaining the right energy across all platforms.
• Creating moments where members think, "I'm so glad I found this space."

Qualifications

• Get energized by bringing people together and watching connections spark.
• Have a natural ability to read the room (even when the room is virtual).
• Can juggle WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Slack, and newsletters, with support from the team.
• Write as you talk - warm, real, and human.
• Care deeply about creating inclusive spaces where everyone can win.
• Are organized and flexible.

Benefits

• Your portfolio & brand: Use BRN as a showcase of your work managing a global community. We'll feature you across our platforms - build your visibility alongside ours.
• Network that opens doors: Direct access to talent professionals who can support your career and job search. These are real relationships, not just LinkedIn connections.
• Skills & experience: Hands-on community management across multiple platforms, mentorship from our founders, and insider knowledge of the recruitment industry that you can take anywhere.
• Flexibility & ownership: Remote, on your schedule. Shape unique experiences within BRN that align with your own career plans. First access to events, partnerships, and opportunities coming through the network.
• The good stuff: Be part of something genuinely making an impact. Work with a team that champions you. Watch connections spark and know you made that happen.
