Role Description

The Community Health Administration Coordinator I will establish a close relationship with patients and clinic site coordinators to assist with referrals, follow-ups, and completing applications for services.

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in the Spanish language.
  • Work in collaboration with the Project Manager to determine eligibility for healthcare services to the uninsured.
  • Coordinate transportation services for patients as needed.
  • Maintain clerical functions for patient scheduling, obtaining, and recording patient biometric data, and electronic health record management.
  • Assist in health literacy efforts to ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate health information.
  • Design and maintain the clinic website, including clinician biographies, service descriptions, and health fair information.
  • Collaborate with faculty in the assignment of students and setup of health fair booths.
  • Schedule and maintain minutes for all committee meetings.
  • Develop and maintain OneDrive file folders containing student and faculty information.
  • Facilitate the use and implementation of immersive technologies for online instruction.

Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Public Health or related field required.
  • Medical Technologist, Paramedic, or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
  • Medical terminology and/or background preferred.
  • CPR certification or BCLS certification required.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with diverse individuals.
  • Holds fluency in the spoken and written Spanish language.
