Role Description

As a Community Assistant, you will be the backbone of the community, acting as the central point of contact for thousands of students.

• The TCLA forum is completely free.
• Up to 75,000 students and graduates each year use it to access high-quality information to understand how to pursue a legal career.
• Law firms use the forum to attract the most talented applicants.

Across our Forum and WhatsApp groups, you'll be responsible for:

• Responding to questions
• Moderating content
• Writing threads
• Launching giveaways
• Maintaining our deadlines and lists
• Managing the SQE and Future Trainees group chat
• Supporting the creation of other resources such as Application Guides

Qualifications

• You will be a future trainee with a 1-year gap before starting at your law firm.
• Ideally, you will have completed the SQE.

Requirements

• A very high standard of writing
• An ability to deliver specific written communication
• A deep understanding of multiple law firm processes
• A supportive tone and deep empathy about the challenges of the law firm process
• A high level of responsiveness
• Strong organisation skills
