[Hiring] Commercial Lines Operations Manager @INSURICA, Inc

Role Description

The Commercial Lines Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Commercial Lines support function, including, but not limited to:

• Planning, organizing, and operating activities
• Quality standards and accounting (as needed)
• Supervision of commercial lines colleagues
• Ensuring complete customer satisfaction

The Commercial Lines Operations Manager also performs duties as an Account Executive and/or Manager and aids both internal and external customers with service needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations
• Complete understanding of insurance markets
• Thorough understanding of insurance underwriting procedures and coverages
• Self-starter, imaginative, and creative
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing priority environment
• Ability to maximize staff results through effective communication and management
• Self-motivated with the initiative to prioritize tasks
• Regular and punctual attendance is required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to promote and maintain a team environment
• Ability to adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality

Requirements

• 7-9 years of previous commercial lines experience preferred
• 2-4 years of previous supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant discipline preferred
• A current property and casualty license, or the ability to quickly obtain one, is required
