Role Description

We're on the lookout for a Commercial Auto and General Liability Claims Supervisor. As a Commercial Auto and General Liability Claims Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise Commercial auto and commercial general liability claim adjusters.
• Review claim files for proper handling.
• Maintain proper staffing needs.
• Be results-oriented with strong leadership and investigative skills.
• Deliver quality claims service.
• Build and manage a quality claims staff.
• Be well-versed in current case law, statutory law, DOI regulations, etc.

This role is a full-time remote position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management and clients.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years supervising a staff on the handling of claims.
• Monitor staffing needs, mentor and develop staff.
• Investigate and settle commercial auto and commercial GL claims.
• Review/Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.
• Work closely with counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Effectively communicate with staff, management, and both internal and external customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
