Role Description

Take your tractor trailer and estimating skills out of the shop and into the field with a career as a Commercial Auto Claims Field Adjuster. This position is fully remote and will be located in or around the Minneapolis, MN, and Twin Cities area.

As a Commercial Auto Claims Field Adjuster for Great West Casualty Company, you will:

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims in the field
• Estimate equipment and cargo damages
• Collaborate with repair facilities to ensure accurate repair costs
• Manage losses from initial inspection through resolution

This role requires a strong understanding of the trucking industry, the ability to build effective relationships with body shops and service providers, and a high level of accountability. We are seeking a self-driven professional who takes ownership of their work and is committed to helping our insureds return to the road safely and efficiently following an accident.

This is a career you should consider if you:

• Have commercial truck estimating experience
• Have knowledge of diesel mechanics or semi-truck parts
• Enjoy investigating and negotiating
• Can work independently and as part of a knowledgeable, collaborative, and friendly team
• Have strong communication skills

Qualifications

• 1-5 years claims adjusting experience
• Ambition and a desire to learn
• Knowledge of the commercial trucking industry is a plus
• Solid communication, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
