Role Description
As a Clinical Operations Manager - Italy at BetterHelp, you’ll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy.
- Provide support via email, phone, and chat to our therapist network to ensure high-quality clinical care.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex customer and therapist questions to ensure quality improvement.
- Organize cross-functional teams as needed to resolve escalations.
- Audit qualitative, quantitative, and/or episodic data and provide clinical feedback to therapists.
- Monitor the clinical capabilities and relevant work experience of therapists applying to BetterHelp.
- Conduct outreach and maintain communications with therapists to improve satisfaction and prevent churn.
- Maintain a small client caseload on the BetterHelp platform.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team and participate in public speaking events and media interviews.
- Stay up to date with the regulatory environment and communicate changes to support compliance.
- Work cross-functionally with various teams throughout BetterHelp.
- Take on other duties and special projects as needed, including recruiting, credentialing, and member experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) in counseling, psychology, or social work.
- 7+ years independently providing direct clinical care to individuals.
- Active and in good standing with your respective Clinical regulatory body and/or professional organization.
- Ability to understand and respect different therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in multiple languages.
- Experience providing 1:1 therapy via telehealth.
- Possess a growth mindset and thrive in a data-driven, customer-centric environment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution, and critical thinking abilities.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to master complicated computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check.
- Reliable Internet connection.
- Currently residing in the country you practice in.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and at least one of the following: French, German, Dutch, Italian, and/or Spanish.
