[Hiring] Climate Campaign Director @Corporate Accountability

Role Description

What you’ll do

• Develop and shape the next iteration of our climate campaign strategy to stop Big Polluters.
• Work closely with the Managing Director of Campaigns, research, broader campaigns, and communications teams.
• Deepen existing partnerships and build new ones in the United States and around the world.
• Develop and execute strategy meetings to create and implement plans for success.
• Manage financial and logistical systems critical to campaign goals.

Who you are

• Committed to advancing racial equity and ending systems of oppression.
• Seasoned organizer with experience in creating and implementing strong campaign plans.
• Experienced in organizing decision makers across varying sectors.
• Skilled at managing from a place of leadership and navigating changing conditions.
• A team player who can establish structure and clarity within a team.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to unexpected situations.
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate campaigning, climate organizing, or relevant fields.

What you’ll be responsible for in the day-to-day

• Lead climate campaign development in alignment with organizational priorities and budgets.
• Partner with key allies and coalition partners for member organizing and mobilization opportunities.
• Drive forward climate campaign goals by leading staff and managing deadlines.
• Coordinate with the communications team to integrate campaign strategies.
• Facilitate strategic planning meetings for long-term and short-term vision and goals.
• Oversee key administrative functions for running the climate campaign.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide campaign updates for fundraisers.
• Travel 4 - 6 times each year for various conferences and planning sessions.
• Actively participate in organization-wide planning, fundraising, and campaign activities.
