Role Description

• Develop engineering scenarios using tools such as:

• Apply civil engineering methodologies like:
  • Structural load analysis
  • Geotechnical site assessment
  • Hydrology/hydraulic modeling
• Produce reference design plans and stakeholder-facing technical narratives.
• Author rubrics to distinguish authentic civil engineering judgment from generic textbook recall.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • 5+ years working as a civil engineer or engineering lead at a major firm, construction company, or public infrastructure agency.
  • Direct ownership of large-scale infrastructure designs or construction project delivery.
  • Fluency in civil engineering tooling and methodologies, plus understanding of regulatory approvals and public agency oversight.
• Preferred:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
  • Experience in rubric, engineering-training curriculum, or design documentation authorship.
