Role Description

• In charge of cargo operations, including planning, loading, stowage, securing, and discharge.
• Maintain vessel stability, stress, and ballast operations.
• Oversee deck crew, assign duties, and ensure efficient work execution.
• Ensure safety on deck, conduct drills, and enforce procedures.
• Maintain deck equipment, cargo gear, and safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain cargo-related documentation.
• Experience in Heavy Lift and breakbulk cargo handling is mandatory.
• Holder of a valid COC (STCW Reg II/2) with verification.
• Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in the written and spoken English language.
• Safety culture and mindset.
• Experience with a multicultural working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience requirements: 12 months in Rank with the same type/size of vessel.
• Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

Requirements

• Contract Duration: 6 months +/- 1 month.
• Contract Benefit: competitive salary.
