Role Description

Preparation of company assessments according to the bluesign® criteria
Pre-evaluation of preparation documents
Company assessments onsite with report writing and related evaluations
Follow-up of roadmap for achieving compliance with the bluesign® criteria (implementation process)
Actualization and maintenance of the business process leading IT tool
Perform follow up assessments to monitor continuous improvement at company
Project work as needed and agreed

Qualifications

+ 10 years in chemical industry (preferably textile chemical related)
Educational background: engineering/ natural science/ technical degree, ideally textile related (e.g. textile engineer, chemical engineer, environmental scientist or similar)
Knowledge in the field of product stewardship, classification and labelling as well as regulatory affairs
Knowledge in the field of chemistry and/ or plastic industry manufacturing
Knowledge in the fields of environment, health and safety and prior experience with auditing
Professional experience requested
Good English skills (especially written)
Occasional travel need (about 1 week/month)
Good communicator, who enjoys working in teams and in multi-cultural settings
Team player with proven ability to work independently
Ability to work under pressure and with good time management
Ability to exercise good and fact-based assessments
