Role Description

CACI, Inc., is seeking full time Case Support Analysts. This position directly supports national security and suitability investigations, focusing on providing support to the field and review departments through the investigator helpline as well as case scoping.

• Serve as subject matter expert by demonstrating a high level of knowledge of customer policies and procedures to include case coverage for all case types, issue resolution, reporting requirements, and working knowledge of FWS.
• Answer field investigator, reviewer, and section lead case related questions and concerns via telephone and email.
• Understand the essential functions of field and review department positions.
• Review the front end of field investigations for compliance with national standards and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance to CACI field staff regarding responsibilities to the investigation along with issues raised during the conduct of an investigation.
• Assess designated case types to communicate important case information to the field while cancelling unwarranted items and ensuring all necessary field work is scheduled or extended.
• Manage daily workload and task list, prioritizing based on customer, business needs, and team needs; participate in all mandatory meetings.
• All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and are to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures.
• In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from the authorized company representatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship (a requirement for obtaining a Federal security clearance).
• Must possess and maintain a current favorably adjudicated T5 or T5R background investigation at all times.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience in conducting Federal background investigations and/or reviewing Federal background investigation reports of investigation.
• At least 12 months’ experience conducting/processing background investigations.
• Must be able to multitask and be comfortable with fast paced environment handling both e-mail and telephone inquiries.
• Must be flexible with schedule availability; schedule consists of morning and afternoon shifts, requiring approximately two late afternoon shifts per month.
• Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, excellent time management, organizational and administrative skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize patterns, trends and/or issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and “can-do” attitude with a sense of mission in support of national security.
• Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable U.S. Government security clearance.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

Physical Demands

• Normal demands associated with an office environment.
• Must sit or stand to work at a computer, reading and typing, for long periods of time.
• Maintain visual ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and to adjust focus while reading words and numbers.
• Speak and hear sufficiently to communicate in person, over the phone and via video.

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is: $46,000-$94,400. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
