Role Description

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in the United States.

We are engaging Cantonese Transcription Experts to contribute to a customer’s project focused on professional-level transcription and AI advancement. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

• Transcribe and annotate audio recordings in Cantonese and English with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• Review and refine automatic transcriptions, ensuring alignment with linguistic and project guidelines.
• Identify and correct language nuances, speaker accents, and contextual cues within audio samples.
• Deliver clean, time-stamped transcripts that meet specified formatting and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project leads to resolve transcription ambiguities and clarify unclear content.
• Contribute linguistic insights to improve AI training data and model performance.
• Submit deliverables according to established project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications

• Native proficiency in Cantonese, with strong comprehension of regional dialectal variations.
• Demonstrated experience in professional audio transcription, particularly with Cantonese and English content.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and linguistic sensitivity.
• Proficiency with transcription tools, audio playback software, and typing in both traditional and simplified Chinese.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and completeness.
• Experience reviewing or annotating linguistic data for technology, media, or research projects (a plus).
• Ability to work independently, manage assignments, and deliver high-quality results remotely.
