Role Description

Join Lockheed Martin’s South East Material Acquisition Center (SEMAC) as a Procurement Analyst specializing in mechanical hardware for multiple MFC programs and locations. As a vital team member, you’ll be on the front line of supplier management—driving cost, schedule, and technical performance to support mission-critical projects. Responsibilities

• Select and recommend subcontractors to meet program needs.
• Prepare comprehensive bid packages and manage proposal analysis.
• Conduct in-depth price analysis and negotiations with suppliers.
• Execute and document purchase orders, holding procurement delegation authority.
• Reconcile invoices and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Negotiate and coordinate modifications to subcontracts as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Program Management and cross-functional teams on procurement matters.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex sourcing challenges.
• Manage high-volume commodity purchases efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal MFC clients.
• Champion and participate in the implementation of the OneLM culture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of procurement or buyer experience in a technical or professional environment.
• Proficient in supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance management.
• Demonstrated success in high-volume commodity management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability to develop solutions for complex procurement challenges.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP, P2P, or SCNav systems.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARs purchasing regulations.
• Background in mechanical hardware sourcing and research-intensive commodities.
