WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):

The Business Systems Analyst serves as a functional and technical liaison between Finance, Business Operations, and Information Technology. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of Oracle Hyperion Cloud applications, including:

• Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS)
• Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS)
• Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)

The analyst will also design and develop Power BI data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights for business leaders. This position partners closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and support the full solution lifecycle from concept through implementation and ongoing support. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years experience as Business Systems Analyst, Financial Systems Analyst, or related experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Hyperion/EPM Cloud applications, including PBCS, PCMCS, and/or FCCS.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technology solutions.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting finance, planning, budgeting, forecasting, or accounting business processes.

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle EPM integrations, Data Management, or EPM Automate.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, RPA, or workflow solutions.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, JD Edwards, or Dynamics 365.
• Experience supporting financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, and profitability management processes.
• Project management or Agile delivery experience.
• Oracle EPM, Power BI, or related certifications.
