[Hiring] Business Systems Analyst @Figma

Role Description

As a Business Systems Analyst you will be an integral part of designing and building out Figma’s Accounting systems landscape. You’ll be joining a small team so will have a broad purview over the different Accounting functions, and will have a specific focus on the corporate accounting, procurement, tax, and payroll workstream. The company is growing fast so the need to revamp, rebuild, and expand our technology infrastructure will be an unending source of exciting projects. Some current needs include:

• Administering a procure-to-pay platform
• Enhancing integrations between NetSuite and ancillary systems
• Bringing our NetSuite configuration to a public company standard
• Partnering with cross functional teams on launches of new bank accounts, new payroll companies, and more

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

• Monitor and triage support requests from Accounting and Finance teams using Slack and Asana
• Investigate and resolve issues or escalate to the appropriate teammate based on complexity and ownership matrix
• Provide end-user support in NetSuite, focusing on saved searches, reporting, and minor customizations (e.g., forms, records, workflows)
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Corporate, and International Accounting partners on daily and month-end system needs
• Maintain clear documentation for support processes, system changes, and known issues
• Contribute to small-scale systems improvements and operational efficiency projects

Qualifications

• A background in Accounting or related field, with a solid understanding of accounting principles
• 3+ years of experience working in or closely with Accounting teams at a SaaS or tech company
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms (e.g., creating reports, saved searches, navigating workflows)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to support teams and systems at scale

Requirements

• Experience implementing or supporting ZoneBilling (added plus)
• Consulting experience in systems implementation or integrations (added plus)
• Experience supporting Stripe, Avalara, or Tesorio (added plus)
• Familiarity with Zip, Coupa, or similar procurement tools (added plus)
• Exposure to system support or help desk operations, with an understanding of accounting operations in a public or pre-IPO company environment (added plus)
