[Hiring] Business Operations Analyst @MultiCare Health System

Role Description

The Business Operations Analyst-Revenue Cycle is responsible for supporting the patient financial services (PFS) system-wide by serving as an internal liaison and resource to other departments, systems coordinator in IS&T, Billing System Analysts, and revenue cycle leadership in troubleshooting, problem resolution, and receivables analysis. The duties include:

• Assisting with identifying, reviewing, researching, analyzing, and resolving workflow or system issues negatively impacting receivables.
• Utilizing system identification and problem-solving techniques.
• Interpreting information from a variety of sources.
• Researching problems and conducting data analyses.
• Using discretion and good judgment in decision making.

External contacts include:

• Third party, private insurance payers.
• Application vendors.

Internal contacts are primarily within the Revenue Cycle and IS&T, but may also include:

• Patient Access.
• Patient Care Teams.
• Clinical Directors.
• Medical Records Staff.
• Partnering with ILD to provide users with targeted and general training classes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• AAHAM or HFMA certification preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years relevant systems and analytical experience.
• Minimum one (1) year experience developing, implementing, operating, maintaining, or using EPIC information systems in hospital and/or clinic settings preferred.
