Role Description

In this role, you will:

• Lead discovery, scoping, and architecture sessions for BC implementations across Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Service Management modules.
• Design end-to-end BC solutions that align with client business processes, scalability requirements, and Microsoft best practices.
• Serve as the primary functional authority on engagements, owning configuration decisions and solution documentation.
• Develop and review Statements of Work, project plans, fit-gap analyses, Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and handoff guides.
• Manage client relationships with confidence, navigating complex stakeholder environments and executive-level conversations.
• Lead and mentor BC functional consultants across active engagements, providing technical direction and quality oversight.
• Drive phased implementation planning, sprint structure, and go-live readiness activities.
• Conduct design reviews, solution validations, and UAT support to ensure delivery quality.
• Identify risks early and lead mitigation strategies in collaboration with project management.
• Contribute to accelerators, templates, and reusable tools that expand Centric's BC delivery capability.
• Support pre-sales activities including discovery calls, solution demonstrations, and proposal development.
• Stay current on BC release wave updates, ISV landscape, and Microsoft roadmap to inform client recommendations.
• Participate in thought leadership activities including blog posts, webinars, conference sessions, and internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least three of the following BC functional areas: Finance & Accounting, Purchasing & Payables, Sales & Receivables, Inventory & Warehouse, Manufacturing, Projects, or Service Management.
• Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle BC implementations as the functional architect or lead consultant.
• Strong documentation skills including FDDs, SOWs, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
• Ability to conduct effective discovery, lead design workshops, and translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Excellent communication and client facilitation skills, comfortable presenting to C-suite and operations stakeholders alike.
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (MB-800) or higher.
• Experience with BC integrations (Power Platform, Azure, third-party ISVs such as Continia, Insight Works, or Jet Reports).
• Familiarity with Copilot for Business Central and AI-assisted capabilities in the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience with GP-to-BC or NAV-to-BC migration engagements.
• Background in accounting, finance, or operations with hands-on experience as an end user or in a controller/operations role.
• Conference presenting, content creation, or community involvement in the BC/NAV ecosystem.
• Experience with Power Platform.
