Role Description

The AI Business Solutions (ABS) team in Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS)-Core is hiring a leader accountable for building the voice of the customer, competitive intelligence, and business value realization at scale.

• Build and own the voice of the customer system for ABS, capturing insights from various customer interactions.
• Establish listening channels and feedback loops to bring customer reality back into ABS priorities.
• Synthesize customer signals into actionable insights for planning and product feedback.
• Close the loop with the field to show how input influenced decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering for competitive insight.
• Maintain a credible view of why ABS wins and loses, sharing it with leadership regularly.
• Build an operating model for business value realization across the ABS portfolio.
• Codify successful deployment patterns into best practices and reusable guidance.
• Design and manage the external customer reference process for ABS.
• Own the process for identifying, curating, and publishing ABS customer success stories.
• Connect customer evidence and insights into the ABS narrative for external communications.
• Ensure field activation and enablement of customer evidence and competitive guidance.
• Define success criteria and metrics for the function, reporting insights to ABS leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in relevant fields.
• 6+ years experience in Near Term Strategy, Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 5+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent experience.
• Experience leading teams, setting direction, coaching, and developing talent.
• Experience building customer reference or voice of the customer programs.
• Experience defining operating models and securing stakeholder adoption.
• Experience in business value realization and customer success measurement.
• Experience in competitive intelligence and producing field-ready materials.
• Experience managing external customer references at scale.
• Experience partnering with senior executives at the CVP level and above.
• Experience in cloud, AI, or enterprise technology.
• Proficient analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficient writing and editing skills to create clear narratives.
• Experience using AI as a discovery and analytical tool.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity and maintain quality and strategic clarity.

Benefits

• Base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year.
• Different pay ranges applicable to specific work locations, such as the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
• Potential eligibility for additional benefits and compensation.
