Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Engineer to join our IT Team to help support our key business systems (ERP, HRIS and Expense Management) in a global medical devices manufacturing business. This role will be well suited to someone looking to further develop their existing skills in systems management and knowledge of ERP, HRIS and expense management. The primary goal of this role will be to support and enhance the features of the systems to aid growth across the business.

• Engage with key stakeholders to facilitate changes required as the business grows.
• Responsible for regular testing and upgrading of the platforms as new releases are provided by the vendors.
• Make configuration changes to the business applications, adhering to change control processes.
• Support and enhance key business processes and the user experience of the system.

This position is based remotely in the US, with a strong preference for candidates in eastern or central time zones.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and governance including policies, procedures and change management.
• Experience of Process Manufacturing.
• Commercial experience administering ERP and commercial systems, ideally IFS and/or UKG, and a knowledge of their technical features.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate continuous learning.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel and PowerBI.
• Knowledge of ERP, HRIS and Expense systems.
• Well organized and results driven.
• A ‘Can do’ attitude and flexible in their approach.
• Forward thinking and embrace change.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Team player but a self-starter.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• ERP-systems, Commercial systems, HR systems, MS Power Automate, MS PowerBI, Excel.
• SQL queries.
• Experience in vendor management.
• An understanding of accounting processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc.).
