[Hiring] Aviation Claims Surveyor @Sedgwick

Role Description

Join Sedgwick Aviation Services as an Aviation Claims Surveyor, supporting global insurers with complex, high-value aviation claims across an international platform.

• Handle aviation insurance claims from minor damage incidents to major aircraft accidents.
• Investigate loss circumstances and attend accident sites as required.
• Assess risk factors and evaluate damage sustained.
• Liaise with airline/operator/repairer and other stakeholders involved.
• Provide technical advice and expertise to progress and finalize the insurance claim.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years relevant aviation maintenance experience.
• Hold an EASA B1/B2 engineering licence or equivalent.
• Good IT skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Technical understanding of current generation aircraft.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Pilot's licence or flight operations experience advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in preparation of detailed reports.
• Must be able to undertake short notice international travel.
• English is the primary business language; additional language skills would be advantageous.
