Role Description

We are seeking an Atlassian Platform Specialist to join our team and contribute to a strategic initiative focused on migrating Jira and Confluence environments to Atlassian Cloud. This project aims to enhance scalability, resilience, and long-term support, while forming part of a broader review of our operating model designed to improve operational efficiency.

• Participate in the assessment and planning phases for the migration of Jira and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud
• Collaborate closely with teammates to ensure a smooth transition
• Develop and implement migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the migrated systems, making adjustments as necessary to optimize functionality
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to communicate progress and address any concerns during the migration process

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in Atlassian tools, specifically Jira and Confluence, with a strong understanding of their functionalities and best practices
• Background in cloud migration projects, particularly with Atlassian Cloud, demonstrating a solid grasp of migration strategies and challenges
• Knowledge of project management frameworks to effectively support team collaboration and project execution
• Strong analytical skills to assess current systems and identify areas for improvement during the migration process
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to navigate complex technical environments and stakeholder requirements
• English proficiency at a B2 level to ensure effective communication and documentation
