Role Description

This role involves being an AT&T wireless and internet Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will train sellers on products and services.

  • Develop materials for training sales associates on AT&T Wireless products, services, and processes.
  • Break down complex ideas and scenarios for audiences.
  • Control the room and engage with audiences to create "aha!" moments.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
  • Design and develop clear, engaging training courses.
  • Deliver sales training presentations in a retail sales environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of presentation and training curriculum development experience related to wireless, high-speed internet, and/or consumer electronics sales.
  • Competency in writing and speaking skills for retailer sales audiences.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail in content creation and language nuance.

Requirements

  • Wireless and fiber broadband internet knowledge (AT&T preferred).
  • Must be willing to learn and become an expert to fulfill clients' and business needs.
  • Natural confidence to tackle ever-changing offers, products, and services.
  • Master unique and complex order entry systems, processes, and remedies.
  • Computer Skills:
    • Required: Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook); strong computer proficiency, web conferencing (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and A/V setup and troubleshooting skills.
    • Highly Preferred: Cloud-based content storage, organization, and file-sharing expertise.
    • Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite, LMS, and general audio/video editing software.
  • Preferred - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field (e.g., Communications, English, Theater/Performance Arts, Business, or Marketing).
  • Neat, professional appearance, and outgoing demeanor.
  • Must have a dependable vehicle with valid vehicle insurance, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.
  • Must be available for multi-day, overnight travel (est. 1-3x/quarter).
  • Valid passport.
  • Employees must cover their non-airfare travel expenses prior to reimbursement.
