[Hiring] Associate SOC Analyst I @Rightworks LLC

Role Description

Entry-level security monitoring role responsible for watching dashboards, triaging alerts, validating true positives, and escalating issues to Tier 2. This will be a remote position.

• Security monitoring & log review - Basic SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel / CrowdStrike)
• Understanding of alert types & network basics
• Communication & ticketing discipline
• Monitor dashboards (“eyes on glass”)
• Perform initial triage of alerts/requests & basic investigations
• Validate alerts; reduce false positives
• Escalate valid alerts to Tier 2
• Maintain logs for reporting
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, ports, protocols, firewalls)
• Strong documentation and ticket-handling discipline
• Ability to identify false positives and escalate true positives

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in IT/security support roles (helpdesk, NOC, desktop support, junior analyst) or internship or lab experience with SIEM tools and basic security concepts.

Requirements

• This role is open to US Citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the United States.
• Rightworks LLC is unable to offer visa sponsorship.

• Relocation will not be offered for this position.

Compensation

Our Compensation range for this role ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually, and is determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
