[Hiring] Associate Manager-Real Estate & Facilities @TDS Telecom

Role Description

As the Associate Manager- Real Estate and Facilities, you will be responsible for assisting the manager with the following areas of the corporate real estate functions:

• Lease administration and negotiations
• Transaction and administration management
• Real estate portfolio management
• Facilities management

The person filling this position is expected to:

• Protect the property rights for the TDS Telecom (TDS) real estate portfolio
• Secure and dispose of property and rights
• Manage a national facilities maintenance vendor
• Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure company needs are met
• Monitor costs, create/maintain reports, and drive adherence to existing TDS Standards/practices
• Drive program-level change in building relationships across internal/external teams

This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ states in which TDS operates.

Responsibilities

• Manage the national facilities provider, vendor systems, and monitor vendor performance
• Serve as a liaison between TDS associate groups and the national facilities provider
• Manage the Facilities Improvement Program for project level improvements
• Assist with the lease administration function for properties where TDS is the tenant and landlord
• Assist with the management and negotiations of all real estate transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience
• 4+ years of business, real estate, or facilities management experience
• Excellent leadership, project management, and customer relations skills
• Deep understanding of creating analytic reports
• Thorough understanding of financial tracking and budgetary reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Office suite, GIS, and Tableau or Power BI
• Self-motivated and self-reliant
• Ability to travel on an "as-needed" basis
• CoreNet Global Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation a plus
• Process management skills
