[Hiring] Associate Manager - Corporate Events Europe @Veeva Systems

Role Description

This is a hands-on role for a talented events professional with a sharp eye for detail, project management experience, and wants to grow within a fast-moving team. The successful candidate must be able to focus on event execution, be an operational contributor for all day-to-day processes, help manage budgets, support execution of tactics, activities, and other details. Must be a team player working collaboratively with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Support planning and execution of key components of large-scale world-class conferences
• Proactive management and execution of major event workstreams end-to-end (hotels, F&B, registration, welcome reception, evening event, meetings, etc.)
• Executes with high quality of service and timely delivery of all necessary components and materials for each event
• Evaluate and manage third-party vendors and agencies alongside senior team members
• Drive cross-functional workstreams independently, keeping timelines, priorities, and stakeholders aligned
• Review vendor contracts, identify gaps, draft proposed edits with senior team members and Veeva's legal team
• Manage budgets, procurement, and invoice reconciliation, including YoY cost-per-head analysis
• Build and maintain the spreadsheets, forms, project plans, and presentations for event planning

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in mid- to large scale corporate event logistics & production
• Proven experience managing event program elements from start to finish with minimal supervision
• Strong project and time management skills
• Experience managing event/project budgets
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
• Adaptable and flexible
• Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Ability to travel 15%

Nice to Have

• Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or life sciences

Compensation

Total compensation: 45,000 - 75,000 GBP. The total compensation range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential total compensation range for this role. Please note that actual total compensation may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position's total compensation may be composed of other types of compensation, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
