Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Manager (Student Societies & Schools) position within the Fundraising department. The Associate Manager (Student Societies & Schools) will support the development and execution of fundraising strategies to secure financial resources that advance the organisation’s mission. Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and wider team, this role helps cultivate donor relationships, coordinate fundraising campaigns and events in universities and student societies, and manages communications. The Associate Manager (Student Societies & Schools) plays a key role in ensuring fundraising targets are met through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

• Promote and wholly adhere to the fundraising code of conduct and best practice.
• Develop, nurture and maintain relationships with current/potential donors, charity partners, organizations and businesses nationally.
• Establish clear lines of communications both regionally and nationally.
• Manage various engaging fundraising projects/activities.
• Manage and nurture a network of national volunteers in line with the volunteer recruitment strategy.
• Provide support to FR colleagues when necessary.
• Help identify, develop and manage new/innovative national fundraising opportunities and emergency campaigns.
• Maintain internal procedures/administration such as donor management system and account management system.
• Contribute towards the development, maintenance and delivery of HA’s national fundraising plan.
• Take on board other duties in line with FR strategy as per the request of the Head of FR.
• Motivate and manage a team within fundraising when required.
• Adhere to the charities policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate on-going professional development through reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE Mathematics, English. Ideally educated to degree level.
• Minimum of 2 years in similar post, proven track record of project and events management.
• Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Office, Social Media, Donor Management systems.
• English Language.

Requirements

• Additional language skills e.g. Spanish, French, Arabic, Urdu.
