[Hiring] Associate Informatics Technical Specialist @Abbott

Role Description

The main function of the Associate Informatics Technical Specialist is a technical resource focused on the end-to-end delivery of the AlinIQ Digital Health applications and at the center of delivering on Abbott's consumer healthcare strategy.

• Responsible for the end-to-end implementation, testing, and training of Abbott Digital applications, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.
• Leverage technical IT and networking expertise to analyze user needs, gather customer requirements, and design integrated, scalable, and comprehensive health informatics solutions that enhance automation for clinical diagnostic healthcare clients.
• Coordinate across a complex network of stakeholders, including sales representatives, laboratory managers, project managers, IT teams, HIS/LIS personnel, internal and external vendors, contractors, and senior management as needed.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. Adheres to and promotes the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines (± 1 year)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel / Word)
• Experience in workflow analysis
• Knowledge of training techniques and customer service
• Advanced English
• Travel is often required for this role.

Requirements

• Experience in training, customer service, reagent balancing, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
• General knowledge of biochemistry, immunology, hematology, and automation.
