Role Description

As the Associate Director of Campaigns, you will lead the development and execution of campaigns to advance THL and OWA’s missions, shaping strategies that drive measurable animal welfare impact.

• Manage and mentor the Corporate Campaigns team, including coaching managers and fostering professional growth.
• Design and implement effective campaign plans, oversee complex projects, and make high-stakes decisions to maximize results.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on corporate targets and organizational priorities.
• Influence industry-wide approaches and cultivate partnerships, serving as a strong external representative of THL and OWA.
• Play a critical role in advancing THL’s corporate animal welfare commitments globally.
• Support team cohesion and build trust while maintaining strong campaign performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in corporate campaigning, corporate engagement, or corporate negotiations.
• Demonstrated experience directly managing staff.
• Experience within animal protection and knowledge of the food industry is preferred, but not required.

• Excellent management skills, including experience coaching managers and developing leaders.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, corporate partners, and coalition members.
• Ability to create and implement innovative strategies that push the boundaries of traditional corporate campaigns.
• Ability to craft and deliver clear, persuasive, and impactful messages in both written and verbal formats.
• Expertise in using data to assess campaign performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
• Approaches work with a global perspective, considering regional and cultural nuances.
