We're seeking 37 Assistant Asset Officers to support asset management operations across our statewide network. With opportunities available in metropolitan, regional and remote locations, you'll have the chance to work close to home or embrace a unique lifestyle in one of NSW's spectacular national park regions.

As an Assistant Asset Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring NPWS assets remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating inspections
• Maintaining asset information
• Supporting maintenance and compliance programs
• Working alongside operational teams to manage a diverse portfolio that includes walking tracks, visitor facilities, fire trails, plant and equipment, and critical infrastructure

No two days are the same. One day you may be analysing asset data and coordinating contractors, and the next you could be supporting inspections in some of the most breathtaking landscapes in NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting asset inspections, maintenance or compliance activities
• Experience using asset management systems, databases or operational information systems
• Understanding of workplace health and safety and risk management principles in field-based environments
• Ability to coordinate activities and work effectively with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders

Requirements

• Current Australian Driver Licence
