Role Description

The Application Business Analyst provides quality implementations, upgrades, and support for Franciscan Alliance applications. This position performs needs assessments and impact analyses, and understands the business and the processes of application areas. The Analyst leads new installations and system optimization and provides on-going troubleshooting for Franciscan Alliance applications. Analyst III additional responsibilities include:

• Researching and providing input regarding system enhancements.
• Reporting to stakeholders feedback on enhancements being developed.
• Managing small to medium projects according to Franciscan Alliance methodologies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• Associate's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (Preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (Preferred)
• 4 years Relevant Work Experience (unless promotional criteria can be met) (Required)
• 5 years Relevant Work Experience (Preferred)
• EPIC Certified Cadence or MyChart (Required)

Requirements

• EPIC Cadence and/or MyChart Certification Required
• On-call Support: Provides on-call and after-hours support following the Franciscan Alliance support model while troubleshooting and repairing reported application problems.
• Incident, Change and Requests Management: Follows organizational practices for incident, change and requests management.
• Process Documentation: Documents and builds workflow, standards, and business processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within and across teams.
• Vendor Collaboration: Works with vendors in implementing, upgrading, supporting and troubleshooting applications.
• Business User Discussions Facilitation: Facilitates business user discussions to identify the requirements for Franciscan Alliance applications functionality and workflow.
• Training & Education: Acts as a Franciscan Alliance applications expert to assist with the creation of training programs.
• Application Design, Configuration & Support: Designs, configures, and supports Franciscan Alliance applications based on standards and guidelines.
• Project Management: Manages projects that do not require project management office (PMO) oversight.
• System Subject Matter Expert: Represents the knowledge area as a subject matter expert and identifies downstream impacts as familiarity with the company systems and business processes increase.
• System Enhancement Identification: Researches, analyzes, and presents information to stakeholders and provides input regarding potential system enhancement needs.
• Application & Workflow Test Development: Performs testing for FA applications and workflow and reports results to stakeholders.
