Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Application Administrator with a strong focus on finance to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance (including upgrades, patching), configuration, and operation of our software, platforms, and other resources. In addition, our Application Administrators also work with internal and external audit groups to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in application administration with a focus on finance.
• Strong understanding of compliance and audit processes.
• Familiarity with various software applications used in finance.

Requirements

• Complete requests for configurations such as tax rates, fixed asset categories, currency rates, HRMS jobs/grades, general ledger chart of accounts and rollups, cross validation rules, etc.
• Perform period end activities including organization changes such as GL segments, rollups, etc.
• Perform year end activities.
• Work with internal and external audit groups to review the reliability and integrity of information systems.
• Quarterly review of security (user access) controls.
• Regularly review roles/privileges in Fusion apps.
• Perform regular security tests and security monitoring.
• Responsible for the implementation of configuration changes for various applications.
• Monitor usages for various applications, perform usage audits, and create licensing requirements for future growth.
• User and role provisioning in non-production environments following IT Access Procedures and Authorities Matrix (where applicable).
• Work with delivery teams and project managers to coordinate environment refreshes, perform pre- and post-refresh steps.
• Manage and install quarterly patches, updates, and upgrades to keep application environments current and functioning optimally.
• Schedule and monitor an application’s processing and address performance issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to applications including configurations, procedures, and licensing guides.
• Maintain Stantec’s service catalog.
