[Hiring] APAC Regional Technical Service Team Manager @Aviagen

Role Description

• Contribute to the achievement of the commercial objectives of the APAC region team by providing a comprehensive, professional & proactive technical support service to customers.
• Lead APAC Regional Technical Services team in developing strong relationships and providing technical service to customers in the Asia Pacific regions.
• Manage and lead the Asia Pacific Region Technical Services team who service customers within the region.
• Support the Asia Regional Technical Service Manager in the development and implementation of the assigned team action plan.
• Build and lead the region's technical team by setting objectives, reviewing performance, and developing and motivating team members.
• Ensure all assigned team technical activities are focused and aligned with regional business objectives.
• Set SMART performance goals for the regional team in conjunction with key stakeholders.
• Identify and visit key customers on a regular planned basis to develop and implement Product Improvement Plans.
• Coordinate specialized support on issues of nutrition, incubation, product analysis, ventilation, or veterinary health.
• Collect and analyze data on product and customer issues for performance tracking.
• Provide monthly and bi-monthly reports regarding technical resource issues, priorities, development needs, and progress.
• Work with international technical service colleagues to share knowledge and provide input to the development of global objectives.
• Contribute to bi-annual RTM / R&D meetings to provide regional performance updates and key regional issues to R&D.
• Develop and manage the Asia Technical team budget, ensuring control procedures are in place and costs are managed efficiently.
• Ensure administrative routines and procedures are followed for efficient communication and management control.

Qualifications

• Over 15+ years of senior level experience in poultry breeding, veterinary sciences, or commercial poultry operations.
• Degree in Agricultural Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or Animal Nutrition.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships with all levels of management and staff (internal and external).
• Experience in budgetary control.
• Being a role model to demonstrate corporate values to the wider technical team.
• Willingness to travel regionally / relocation (if required).
