[Hiring] Alliances Manager @WellTheory

Role Description

WellTheory is growing its presence in the benefits consulting community, building relationships with the national and regional firms employers trust most. As these relationships deepen, we need a dedicated owner focused on the consulting world.

We're looking for an Alliance Manager to build WellTheory's presence in the benefits consulting community:

• Developing relationships at national and regional consulting houses.
• Educating consultants on our model and outcomes.
• Becoming a valuable resource for their client conversations.
• Working alongside our employer sales team to ensure consultants have what they need.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership individual contributor role. You'll report to our CEO initially, then to our Head of Commercial.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in the benefits consulting world, either at a consulting house or leading alliances at a digital health company.
• Experience building a category, not just selling in one.
• Strong verbal and written communicator with expertise in storytelling.
• Roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• Consultative approach to partnerships.
• Creative and agile in adapting sales strategies.
• Organized and diligent in managing tasks and relationships.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time on average, with certain times reaching 75%.
• Ability to build relationships in person, over coffee, at conferences, and in offices.
• Comfort with ambiguity and taking initiative without a roadmap.
• Strong documentation and process orientation in a fully remote team.
