Role Description
The Business & Financial Strategy Intern will play a key role in organizing Italian Itinerary’s vendor relationships, financial operations, and market research.
- Manage and update our vendor database, including contact details, service descriptions, and relationship history.
- Assist in organizing invoicing, payments, and vendor correspondence to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Implement logical, structured methods for bookkeeping and vendor management.
- Research and analyze new markets, emerging travel trends, and competitor strategies.
- Identify potential collaborations and high-value vendor partnerships.
- Assist in AI-enhanced pricing analysis for premium travel services.
- Help streamline Italian Itinerary’s business workflows using digital tools.
- Support in the development of efficient financial tracking and reporting methods.
- Contribute to the coordination of strategic initiatives for business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and research skills, with attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in finance, business operations, and strategy.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and digital management tools.
- Enthusiasm for AI-driven solutions in business efficiency and marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- This is an unpaid, academic internship best suited for students seeking university credit or fulfilling degree-related work experience.
- Minimum commitment of 5-6 months (15-20 hours per week).
- 100% remote (must have a stable internet connection).
