Role Description

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing direct operational and administrative support to the leadership and staff of the Movement Incubator Division (MID). The Coordinator is responsible for accomplishing a wide variety of duties and tasks reflective of the needs of the leadership and staff of the division. The Coordinator will use their skills to adapt procedures and processes to complete projects and assignments efficiently, with the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

  • Faithfully fulfill team and organizational responsibilities for MID, including:
    • Developing a comprehensive support system that provides internal/external communication, events, and training, planning, and support.
    • Playing a key role in streamlining workflow from the centralized Movement Incubator work to the decentralized local team and hub level.
    • Providing translation (written) and interpretation (verbal) for Latino/Hispanic Think Tank, Spanish MI training and resources, and other internal and external communications as needed/requested by the MI division leader/supervisor.
    • Participating and serving at organizational gatherings - division meeting/events, team meetings, Novo conferences, and any other meetings at the discretion of the division's leadership - and capturing key agreements and action items.
    • Serving as point-person for coordinating administrative needs for field-based initiatives (Novo's Disciple-Making and Multiplying Leaders Cohorts, learning communities, etc.).
    • Assisting MID Team Leaders with operational expertise for event management, data collection, and human resources needs.
    • Handling email communications and tracking all Movement Incubator Annual Ministry Plan reported completed by decentralized 5COM team or hub leaders.
    • Providing other general administrative support to supervisor and division leaders as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or AA degree in business or office administration preferred.
  • 2 - 5 years experience in an administrative position, preferably in a ministry environment.
  • Administrative gifting and the willingness to serve wholeheartedly in a ministry environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to generate solutions in a complex, global environment.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to build strong rapport both within and outside of MID.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats, fluently and at an academic level in English and Spanish.
  • Demonstration of cross-cultural competency and experience.
  • Flexibility and adaptability with organizational proficiency.
  • Ability to use and learn new technology, including programs in the Google Suite, Microsoft Office, communication and project-tracking programs, presentation software, etc.
  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills, including with online/cloud storage, databases, resource-sharing, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills, along with an ability to establish effective and efficient procedures, and to prioritize projects and workflow.
  • Ability to manage work and relationships in a digitally distributed environment.
