Role Description

This role involves overseeing and managing the organizing team for Empower Project's relational organizing programs.

• Supervise and delegate responsibilities to members of the organizing team.
• Work with Empower Project to evaluate and hire Community Organizer applicants.
• Manage and lead a team of RODs and COs, fostering a supportive team culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure all data is entered in a timely fashion, meeting campaign-wide standards.
• Direct organizing staff during large-scale trainings, managing key elements of technology, presentation, and team coordination.
• Maintain a regular 1:1 meeting schedule with direct reports and plan and lead weekly organizing team meetings.
• Ensure that all program requirements are well-communicated by reviewing and contributing to published materials.
• Monitor the results of various accountability and organizing approaches and share best practices with colleagues and Empower Project leadership.
• Collect critical feedback on training materials from RODs, COs, and CMs and deliver to Empower Project leadership to improve support materials.
• Support Empower Project leadership in monitoring and identifying trends in the CM recruitment pipeline.
• Other tasks as assigned by Empower Project leadership.

Qualifications

• Additional consideration for candidates with existing relationships in key states.
• Fluency in a second language, including Spanish, is a plus.

Requirements

• Full-time availability from February 9th, 2026, through November 13th, 2026.
• Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10:30am to 8:30pm ET, with shortened hours on Fridays.
• Full week of work before the November election.
