[Hiring] Senior Data / AI Engineer @DataMax

Role Description

In our Data / AI Engineering team, you will be working closely with our best-in-class engineers, experienced in building ultra-modern products.

• Design and develop complex solutions for Data-Intensive and AI Applications.
• Develop and optimize EL(T) processing pipelines to create the foundations for analytical / machine learning workflows.
• Be involved in all topics concerning data extraction, transformation, integration, and storage.
• Use your software engineering expertise to provide clean, extensible, and scalable solutions.
• Mentor the team to develop professionally.
• Work in cross-functional teams together with our client and stakeholders designing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions.
• Share ideas and discuss different approaches in an environment where your opinion has a direct impact.
• Work independently, using your conceptual and creative skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working professionally with Python or other programming languages, and SQL.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, or similar positions.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Data Platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Distributed Systems.
• Motivated and fast learner.
• Development experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Requirements

• Nice to have: Experience working with stream processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink).
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Kubeflow, Airflow, or Prefect.
• Experience with AI Agent Frameworks (e.g.: MCP, LangChain, PydanticAI, LangFuse).
• Knowledge of PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Related Certifications.
