[Hiring] Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer @Ciklum

Role Description

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer to join our team full-time in India. As a Senior Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project focused on designing and delivering advanced enterprise AI solutions powered by LLMs, agentic systems, and modern machine learning architectures for global-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and deployment of scalable AI systems with focus on LLM-driven applications, multi-agent systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for clients ensuring AI solutions meet enterprise-grade standards for performance, security, and reliability.
• Drive full development lifecycle from experimentation and prototyping to production-grade implementation.
• Act as Technical Subject Matter Expert during discovery phases translating business challenges into AI roadmaps and engineering solutions.
• Establish LLMOps best practices including CI/CD, model observability, automated evaluation, and continuous model improvement.
• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to align technical delivery with business KPIs.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and internal workshops.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software, data, or AI engineering with at least 3–4 years in AI/ML solution architecture and implementation.
• Strong academic background with BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning optimization.
• Proven experience building and deploying advanced AI systems including LLMs, multimodal models, RAG, and agentic systems.
• Expert-level Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, and Hugging Face.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, model versioning, observability, and evaluation methodologies such as CRISP-ML(Q).
• Experience designing end-to-end AI pipelines including data ingestion, API integration, and production model serving.
• Ability to work with multiple data modalities including text, image, and audio as well as time-series forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Strong understanding of security, data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), and ethical AI frameworks in enterprise environments.
