Role Description

As a member of the post-sales federal Applied AI Expert team at DataRobot, you will collaborate closely with DataRobot’s public sector customers to help them achieve their organization’s objectives with AI.

• Work with customers in a range of public sector entities -- from the US Federal government, state and local institutions, and medical entities -- on diverse use cases.
• Help both technical and non-technical stakeholders identify areas to apply AI and work hand-in-hand with them to leverage DataRobot to meet their most pressing needs.
• Gain exposure to a huge variety of use cases across multiple sectors of government.
• Use your machine learning expertise to creatively define technical approaches to a wide array of prospect use cases, specifically Predictive and Generative AI models.
• Help build trust in DataRobot as an AI partner.

Please note: You must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance (or higher) to be eligible for this role. If you do not meet these criteria, you will not be considered for the position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of real-world business experience in a data science role.
• 3+ years of experience in customer facing role.
• 3+ years experience in Public Sector desired.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative subject.
• Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI models into production for Federal/DoD/IC customers.
• Excellent communication and strong customer interaction skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with a variety of technical tools for the manipulation of data.
• Ability to understand, write and collaborate with Python or R.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (desired).
• Familiarity with consultative sales process in the data/analytics marketplace (desired).
• Familiarity and/or experience with generative AI concepts and tooling (desired).
• Familiarity with data platform technology integrations (desired).
• Experience dealing with complex customer organizations (desired).
• Fluency with scripting in Python or R (preferably both) (desired).

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have an active secret clearance (or higher).

Compensation Statement

The U.S. annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is between $200,000 and $250,000 USD/year. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on various factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s work location, job-related skills, experience, and education.
