Role Description
We are looking for a Manager, AI, API, & Automations to lead a team of specialists. The Manager fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while building organizational capability in automation, AI, and digital integration. This role balances forward-looking innovation with disciplined execution, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value and are sustainable, transparent, and aligned with ECCU’s strategic and regulatory environment.

In collaboration with the Director, Enterprise Digital Excellence, lead the development and execution of ECCU’s enterprise AI, API, and automation strategy.

Work with business units and cross-functional teams to establish and maintain the enterprise roadmap.

Establish and maintain structured intake, evaluation, and prioritization frameworks.

Translate strategy into actionable plans, ensuring clear direction, sequencing, and delivery accountability across the team.

Provide leadership in the evaluation, adoption, and scaling of Agentic AI and intelligent automation capabilities.

Oversee use case selection, solution design, and value realization to ensure measurable improvements.

Ensure appropriate human oversight, transparency, and control mechanisms are embedded within all AI-enabled solutions.

Provide oversight and direction for the design and delivery of automation and integration solutions.

Enable team effectiveness by guiding complex design decisions and ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.

Be accountable for establishing and maintaining enterprise governance frameworks.

Ensure automation initiatives are aligned with optimized processes, experience strategies, and enterprise technology direction.

Influence partners to drive adoption, alignment, and realization of business value.

Oversee vendor strategy, including evaluation, selection, and performance management.
Qualifications

Successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

A minimum of five to eight years of related experience in digital automation, AI, process improvement, or enterprise technology initiatives.

At least two to three years in a leadership role, preferably within a financial institution or a complex enterprise environment.
