Role Description

The AI Solutions Engineer will develop AI-powered solutions to enhance operational capabilities within risk intelligence and agentic development areas. This role specializes in Python development and agentic AI engineering, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the development team.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered integrations using Python and agentic engineering principles to support operational delivery teams.
• Build automated solutions for generating Due Diligence, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), and Travel Threat Assessment (TTA) reports.
• Implement Large Language Model (LLM) integrations and agentic workflows that enhance analyst productivity and report quality.
• Create data-driven applications that leverage AI to extract, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration pipelines that connect AI models with operational systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across Risk Advisory, Investigations, and Intelligence teams to understand operational needs and challenges.
• Translate business functional requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Serve as the liaison between business units and the development team, ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve efficiency in risk assessment and investigative processes.
• Contribute to product roadmap planning by providing technical feasibility assessments and effort estimations.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Submit pull requests with well-documented, clean, and testable code.
• Conduct thorough code reviews for team members, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with QA to develop testing strategies for AI-powered features.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and integrations.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electronics, electrical, or instrumentation engineering preferred.
• At least ten to fifteen years of experience with electronic security systems, including CCTV and access control systems.
• A minimum of three years of professional Python development experience.
• Comfortable with Python and AI frameworks.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge with Scrum/Agile methodologies in a professional environment.
• Able to serve as Business Analyst or Technical Product Owner.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and information extraction techniques.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and reporting frameworks.
• Familiar with compliance and regulatory requirements related to due diligence and background screening.
• Understanding of agentic AI engineering principles and LLM-based application development.
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and libraries (LangChain, OpenAI API, and Anthropic API).
• Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Background or demonstrated interest in risk analysis, investigations, or intelligence analysis.
• Understanding of due diligence processes and OSINT methodologies.
• Familiar with security risk assessment frameworks and threat intelligence concepts.
• Able to understand and translate complex business processes into technical requirements.
