Role Description
We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer with strong React UI expertise and complementary back-end knowledge to join our team. In this role, you will build intuitive, responsive user interfaces for our AI-powered recruitment solutions while collaborating on the underlying systems that drive them. You'll create engaging front-end experiences that leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to revolutionize recruitment processes, help match candidates to opportunities, and optimize hiring outcomes. Your work will span modern front-end frameworks, cloud services, and state-of-the-art language models to create innovative talent acquisition solutions with exceptional user experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React for AI-powered talent acquisition applications

Create reusable UI components and implement state management solutions for complex application workflows

Integrate front-end applications with AI/ML models focused on talent acquisition use cases such as candidate matching, skill assessment, and recruitment forecasting

Implement interactive data visualizations to present AI-driven insights in intuitive and actionable ways

Collaborate on back-end development tasks, including building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs for internal and external use

Assist with data engineering tasks to connect front-end applications with data from internal systems, client Applicant Tracking Systems, and 3rd-party vendors

Support the implementation and fine-tuning of large language models (LLMs) for specific talent acquisition tasks with appropriate user interfaces

Develop front-end components for agentic AI systems that can assist human recruiters

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces

Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Document front-end architectures, components, and integration points for knowledge sharing and maintenance

Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and AI advancements to continuously improve our talent acquisition capabilities
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred.

Experience:
-
5+ years in Agile software engineering with at least 3 years of React development experience
-
Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
-
Experience with React ecosystem tools including Redux, React Router, and modern build tools

2+ years working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services

Working knowledge of Python for back-end development and API creation
-
Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake)
-
Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues

Experience with front-end testing frameworks and methodologies

Familiarity with modern LLM technologies including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and their integration into user interfaces

Experience designing and implementing user interfaces for AI agent interactions, including conversational UIs and agent feedback mechanisms

Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Goose, and OpenCode to augment development workflows and productivity

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and security standards

Exposure:

Experience creating interactive data visualizations using libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or similar

Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and their implementation in web applications
-
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for web applications

Familiarity with cloud architectures across AWS (primary), Azure and GCP (secondary)

Understanding of current trends in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning

Awareness of ethical considerations and best practices in AI, particularly related to hiring and candidate assessment

Experience designing intuitive interfaces for end-user interaction with AI agents, including appropriate feedback mechanisms and error handling

Knowledge of best practices for human-AI collaboration in professional tools and workflows
-
Prior work in talent acquisition, HR tech, or related fields is highly desirable
