Role Description
This role ensures that modern, high‑quality, and user‑centric AI and Copilot solutions are designed, developed, and operated within UNIQA. The position is responsible for the full end‑to‑end lifecycle of Copilot Studio Agents and additional enterprise AI/automation solutions that meaningfully improve the Employee Experience.
The AI & Copilot Solutions Engineer develops and operates Copilot‑based and AI‑powered solutions that simplify employees’ daily work, accelerate internal processes, and provide robust conversational interfaces. The purpose of the role is to deliver scalable, secure, and practical AI solutions that are actively used across the organization and generate measurable business value.

Design, develop, and operate Copilot Studio Agents and other AI‑powered solutions across the full end‑to‑end lifecycle.

Develop automation workflows in Power Automate, integrating AI models with enterprise systems and data sources.

Build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases, embeddings, and grounding strategies to effectively integrate enterprise knowledge.

Integrate Copilots and AI functionalities with SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 components.

Build custom connectors to integrate internal HR and enterprise systems with Power Platform and Copilot Studio.

Apply software engineering best practices for AI, Power Platform, and cloud development, including testing, deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI/Copilot opportunities, validate requirements, and deliver POCs, pilots, and scalable production implementations.

Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI standards.
Qualifications

AI/ML engineering experience and familiarity with end‑to‑end AI lifecycle management.

Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (prompt flows, orchestration, connectors).

Strong Power Automate & Power Platform development skills, including custom connectors.

Experience with Azure AI Services / Azure OpenAI and related cloud‑based AI development.

Background in API engineering and building/maintaining custom connectors.

Experience working with Databricks for data engineering, model development, or orchestration.

Proficiency in Python (or a similar programming language commonly used in AI/automation).

Experience with MLOps, including model monitoring, evaluation, versioning, and lifecycle governance.

Understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding‑based retrieval.

Knowledge of enterprise security, privacy, and Responsible AI principles.

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders.

Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.

Analytical and solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to deliver both prototypes and production‑ready solutions.
